Databend is promising serverless data warehouse that can be connected to as a clickhouse or mysql server.

It should not be very hard to add the integration.

I've tried it out with the existing clickhouse.Driver but it doesn't work now. I have filed an issue for the databend project.

@suzaku Thanks for opening the issue. However, we are likely to disappoint you this time (at least for the moment) since supporting Databend is not on our near-term roadmap.

Our near-term focus is to support/improve the existing integration (mysql, postgres, tidb, clickhouse, snowflake) and the only extra database we are considering is sqlite.

Saying that, we will keep an eye on Databend and revisit the decision later.

OK. I guess users will be able connect to Databend just by using the Clickhouse driver once the bug is fixed.
