segfault in ecap_adapter_gzip.so

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit site http://icanhascheezburger.com/ using Chromium 13.0.782.24

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Two examples from messages file;
Jun 20 17:50:58 proxy kernel: [175480.772340] squid[4058]: segfault at 0 ip

ecap_adapter_gzip.so[7f3efc105000+6000]
Jun 20 17:53:18 proxy kernel: [175621.242515] squid[7324]: segfault at 0 ip 
00007f990acb2e73 sp 00007fff0cf56340 error 6 in 
ecap_adapter_gzip.so[7f990acb0000+6000]

squid then restarts;

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Gentoo 2.6.39-gentoo-r1, squid 3.1.12, libecap-0.0.2, squid-ecap-gzip-1.3.0, 
gcc 4.4.5.

Please provide any additional information below.
Only seems to trigger on that site, and only with chromium. Other sites work 
normally, and that site works normally with Firefox 4.0.1.
