When performing multiple sort, highlighting of content occurs

Describe the bug
When pressing the shift button while making a secondary sort, content around the column to be sorted is highlighted. This should not occur.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Sort any table on primary sort
2. Press shift and click on a secondary sort column
3. Notice the momentary highlighting of content

Expected behavior
Highlighting of content should be disabled secondary above sort operations.
