ViewModel doesn't get constructed from an underlying ViewModel

The issue is, that when a ViewModel is bound to an underlying ViewModel, it actually isn't able to show another ViewModel. It is, of course, hard to describe since I'm not familar with Caliburn yet.

Please point me in the right direction if this is not a bug.

It doesn't appear to be a bug, I've posted an answer on Stack Overflow, I may need some more detail about what you're trying to achieve before I can point you in a better direction.
