During ISS commissioning AstroPi encountered freeze and OS crash (AR-3173). AstroPi could be fully recovered by power-cycling. Possible cause could be SEU.

  • What worst-case impact has an OS crash for a CalliopEO sience run? Which data can get lost (assuming AstroPi's SD card will not render completely unusable after power-cycle)?
  • What is the exact procedure to resume the CalliopEO experience run after an OS crash happend?
  • Perform SW code review and identify possible code improvements to make CalliopEO less prone to OS crashes and alike.
