Two options proposed by George B. from RPF:

  • Hard-code user calliope
  • Avoid the selection of user pi for installation

One additional idea from my side:

  • Avoid the selection of an existing user for installation (including of course pi, see above).

Decision: exit setup.sh, if user exists (regardless of the user name).
