Can this be used without TigerGraph/Neo4j to generate a new graph from scratch to be exported as JSON which can then be rendered with Cytoscape styling?

I'm looking for something better than http://mindgraph.jgordon.io/ - especially with compound nodes, bezier edges, custom node attributes etc.

I understand that you want a graph editor. Currently, Davraz is not such a tool. This tool is currently just for viewing/visualizing Tiger Graph and Neo4j (coming soon hopefully) databases.

In fact, I also have a plan to build such a tool. I will let you know when I do any progress on that.

I don't think it would be enough for you but you can check out newt Newt is an editor but it is specifically designed for biological pathway models.
