When changing the keyboard layout in the installer it doesn't change the layout directly, but the installed system later gets the correct layout. Maybe this was due to #408, but it gets a bit weird since it has a "Try your keyboard layout" box, but it's always the layout that was set when starting the installer that is active in there.

Interesting, what does it look like when you come to the identity page if you choose like Cyrillic, is 408 still a problem?
I probably tested in debug mode, which I guess doesn't make the actual changes. I wonder how what happened in Luna's case though (reported on discord).
I have no issues with Swedish either. The non-latin alphabet case is an interesting one though, but isn't anything new as far as I know. The only way around this is setting up multiple input methods in the live system (probably something we should think about supporting in the installer in the long run).
