Please release 1.17.0

please release onnxruntime-silicon==1.17.0

I guess it's the perfect opportunity to thank for all the efforts in the past months.

Do you mean a pre-release, since onnxruntime did not officially release 1.17.0. And as far as I know (but can't find the issue anymore), CoreML support will be finally added to version 17 by default (so no need to create onnxruntime-silicon anymore 🎉).

They released it a couple of hours ago... will check the default on my M1 then.

Currently, there is no release on github. Maybe their CI pipeline has not finished yet and the wheels are already uploaded. But yes, would be great if you could give it a try!

There is a release on pypi... I just tested it and can confirm that the default onnxruntime comes with coreml.

You can soon archive this repo... :-)

There are many people having issues but an update to the latest MacOS seems to solve it.

I would still say you can archive it.
