Good afternoon,

Just found this post about the most recent nemoh version and it's ability to compute second order wave forces.
I'm personally a big fan of Capytaine, mainly because of being implemented in python, allows a fantastic, simple and versatile workflow, even to implement in optimization routines. So I'm curious to ask if the computation of 2nd order wave forces is something for soon in Capytaine. Excited to know!

Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the kind words.

QTFs are on the list of possible future features, but many other tasks have a higher priority at the moment. It is a difficult topic (congratulations to Ruddy Kurnia for implementing it in Nemoh). Even with the Nemoh implementation as a reference, it is a fair amount of work.
So, it may come but don't expect it soon (unless somebody out there wants to tackle it, in which case I'll be happy to help).
