Uvalde assumes that a source RPM exists and was imported. uvalde list, uvalde move, and uvalde remove all break if you have imported a binary RPM and don't also import the source RPM it was built from. In a perfect world you will always have the source RPM, but there are some scenarios that this breaks down.

  • vendor that releases binary RPM but not the source RPM
  • RPMs built from non-standard RPM build tools such as cmake, fpm, or goreleaser
