Requests for Comments

The Trainers Leadership Committee will use an RFC process for actions related to:

  • Propose changes to Trainer Certification Renewal process
  • Establishing Task Forces and Subcommittees within Trainers group
  • Changing to Instructor checkout requirements
  • Other topics as deemed appropriate

When this occurs, they will:

  1. Create a public PR, issue, or discussion
  2. Notify the trainer community via mailing list and Slack
  3. Use a trainer meeting for a discussion

The RFC process must allow at least 2 weeks for comments from the Trainer community, including at least 48 hours after the trainer meeting that is used for the process.

The RFC will include the following information at a minimum:
