The Trainers Leadership Committee will use an RFC process for actions related to:
- Propose changes to Trainer Certification Renewal process
- Establishing Task Forces and Subcommittees within Trainers group
- Changing to Instructor checkout requirements
- Other topics as deemed appropriate
When this occurs, they will:
- Create a public PR, issue, or discussion
- Notify the trainer community via mailing list and Slack
- Use a trainer meeting for a discussion
The RFC process must allow at least 2 weeks for comments from the Trainer community, including at least 48 hours after the trainer meeting that is used for the process.
The RFC will include the following information at a minimum:
