@inniyah there is a linux branch with compile fixes for linux. I was never able to fully test it as my linux machine will not open the window (think its a driver issue, hangs in some nvidia calls) however the machine is doing other duties (running VMs one with a passthrough nVidia card, has its own as well) so I don't like messing with it much. However if you are able to fix it send me a PR and I will update it.
