Use of existing database

Hey, i have already a SQLite database with data needed for my app , so i want to create an app using kotlin native which will access the database to preform CRUD operations but when i look at docs i only find samples about creating a new one, but i need to use an existing one so how to configure sql delight for this ?

The steps are more or less the same.

1. Define your schema (using CREATE statements and whatnot) so that SQLDelight knows what your database looks like
2. Write your queries
3. Get an instance of the driver, like so: val driver: SqlDriver = NativeSqlDriver(YourDatabase.Schema, "path/to/your.db")
4. Use the generated code like normal

The main difference between using an existing database file and creating a new one is that to create a new one you would also need to call YourDatabase.Schema.create(driver), which would run all of the CREATE statements to set up the tables. But if your tables already exist, then there's no need to call that function!
