How to Unlock Any ZTE Modem/Router in 2021

If you have a ZTE modem or router that is locked to a specific network or carrier, you might want to unlock it so that you can use it with any SIM card of your choice. Unlocking your ZTE modem/router can give you more flexibility and freedom to choose the best network and plan for your needs. Method 1: Unlock Code Generator Method

This method involves getting an unlock code from a third-party website or service that can generate codes for various ZTE models. You will need to provide some information about your device, such as the IMEI number and the model name. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Open the modem/router cover and copy down the IMEI number written on the sticker on the device.
  2. Insert a SIM card from a different carrier than the one your device is locked to. For example, if your device is locked to Airtel, insert an Etisalat SIM card.
  3. Power on/connect the modem/router to your PC and launch the device's dashboard. It should prompt you to enter an unlock code.
  4. Go to a website that can generate unlock codes for ZTE devices, such as J5 Tech or Big Unlock. Enter your device's IMEI number and model name and click on "Generate" or "Order". You might need to pay a small fee to get the code.
