Describe the bug

Tried to find the faction to check if an old problem I'd noticed some time ago was still in the game before making a bug report. Couldn't find the New England Church Community after checking churches in over two dozen overmaps.

It could be a case of awful luck but I don't know wherever the spawn chance is just very low or if it's a bug.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Load into a world.
  2. Using debug menu reveal current overmap.
  3. Teleport to every church to check for faction npcs.
Recommend to use "E" to mark visited churches.
  4. Teleport to adjacent overmap.
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 several times.

Normal because the New England church community in cground3x3.json, is unused in bn.

Hmm. Any reason it's unfinished? I assumed it was added to DDA after the split-off point, so it would be weird for someone to have ported it. Is it really that old and we just inherited an unfinished beginning of it?

If my memory isn't playing a trick on me, I remember seeing a group of npcs rarely spawn in churches in an older release and assumed those were the New England Church Community faction.
Edit: Some butchering tools would also spawn in their church.

After seeing the above comment I downloaded an older version of BN and tried looking for the faction again.

First attempt
Version: Stable 0.3
Mod list:

Didn't find the New England Church faction after checking churches on over a dozen overmap.

Second attempt
Version: Stable 0.3
Mod list: same as above with DinoMod added.
Found church with butchering tools and NPCs on starting overmap.

Looks like I was indeed mistaking a DinoMod faction spawning in churches for the New England Church.
It seems New England Church isn't in BN. However there is an item named "icon" which spawns in religious buildings (church or cathedral) and mentions the faction in its description.

Should I edit the title and description of the issue to make it about the currency item "icon" or close it and open a new one ?

Thank you Ignaramico for pointing out the DinoMod faction.
