Not sure where to start troubleshooting this issue. Let me know if I need to provide any more info.

The program in this repository has only been tested on Windows. It uses various low-level system techniques, so I wouldn't think that it would work on GNU/Linux, or another operating system, without some modifications. I'd be open to a pull request to add support for other operating systems.

I see. For some reason I didn't think about that. Actually believe it or not this is just what everyone else that uses Linux recommends for unlocked fps in Sekiro as it works perfectly for them so there likely isn't anything you need to do. It seems more like a problem specific to me. I'm hopefully closer to figuring out what makes it not work for me in particular and I will update this if I figure out what my specific issue is to hopefully help others in the future that stumble upon it.

There's another program that does exactly what you're looking for. https://github.com/Lahvuun/sekirofpsunlock
