🐞 [BUG_LP] - Unattractive navbar

Description of the bug. ✍🏻

The navbar looks very thin and unpleasing to the eye right now. Morever, the color contrast while hovering on it doesn't look as good.

The page reloads each time we click on the 'Github Readme' logo on the navbar.

Current Behaviour

The hover effect on navbar element is not good.
The page reloads each time we click on the 'Github Readme' logo on the navbar.

Expected Behaviour

I would like to make some improvements in the navbar section. I want to increase its height, improve its spacing as well add a better hover effect to it so it looks pleasing to the eye. I would also like to use react's feature to prevent the page from reloading while clicking on the 'Github Readme' logo.
