The more I research this issue, the more it appears to be a kernel bug. I think I'll use a factory (default) kernel for octopus chromebooks. Expect a fix to be out by tomorrow. |

Prepped a microsd card with Ubuntu 20.04 and Gnome. On boot, trackpad does not work. I needed to plug in an external mouse. Using

andxinput
, Ubuntu does not even see my trackpad.I tried installing Synaptics just in case, but that didn't work either. I'd love some help, thanks.
