I have tried all 3 multiple times: setup-audio |
I can notice a low buzzing sound from the speakers when scrolling or using the touchpad |
Looks like Amberlake isn't supported by SOF. I don't have an ETA on it :D. Do you get this buzzing sound from the speakers in ChromeOS? This is highly unusual. |
No. Everything works fine on ChromeOS |
So this can't be fixed? We need to wait support from Sound Open Firmware? |
I notice the same thing on my laptop, but it's not the speakers, it's some sort of resonance from one of the components. Perhaps the Linux distro utilizes resources a bit differently from ChromeOS, which increased the resonance? I recently installed Breath into the internal storage, and I noticed a slight decrease in the intermittent buzzing, though it's still there. |
Hi. Thanks for your great work!
Went through all the suggested steps and cannot get the audio to work.
Also, the keyboard backlight does not work.
Everything else seems ok.
