New Steam Updatescript - 1.7.5
We had an open discussion about Steam Update Validation. Yes, there are games that overwrite their own created files during validation, in some games we have already backed up and restored your own files after an update.
We would now like to announce a new update script that will provide more features and a new log system.
You think that a game "--novalid" should always be active, so please write us.
Parameters for update.sh:
-sid | --steamid = SteamID
-g | --game = Shorttag from Game
-u | --username = Steam Username
-p | --password = Steam Password
--beta = Added -beta yourname to SteamCMD
--win = Force Windows Files
--novalid = Disabled Steam Validation
Log files are now stored under: /home/CUSTOMER/server/SHORT_ID/updatelog/*
The log files write important information when updating.
Steam Username or Password needed only for some Games.
