Points are an incentive mechanism by which Web3 developers attract, engage, and retain end users. More specifically, points allow developers to encourage specific trackable actions, either on-chain or off-chain.

Currently, most points programs are stored in centralized databases of individual projects, which means they do not benefit from the verifiability and composability of decentralized systems. The Ceramic Points SDK will enable developers to points directly to the Ceramic Network in a way that is verifiable and decentralized, and which can be composed with other points on Ceramic.
