Hi,

I got a message from a pilight user that you had a similar project running called pihome. Your project looks really well, however, the sending and receiving implementations are far behind to what pilight is capable of. But your (smartphone) GUI design(s) offers a lot more than i'm capable of. So, what about merging our projects?

Check www.pilight.org and http://www.github.com/pilight for more information on my project. For a nice german blog that wrote about pilight: http://www.sweetpi.de/blog/258/funksteckdosen-mit-dem-raspberry-pi-und-pilight-schalten

I only have the LPF on stock, not the transmitter and receiver, so you must buy that first.

Also, instead of just building the repsonsive GUI, are you maybe willing to build a responsive website for pilight?

Did you actually read my wiki post about the receivers: http://wiki.pilight.org/doku.php/receivers?

Yes, i saw that (long time ago).
I have the kit that you mentioned (http://dx.com/p/433mhz-rf-transmitter-module-receiver-module-link-kit-for-arduino-arm-mcu-wl-green-220194).
I have not that bad experience with that such as you.
My range is around 10~m (for my setup is that ok)

Many people report ranges of around 3m whilst the other one is around 30m

Also notice, that sender is fine, but receiver is terrible.

Hi Moo,

i have change my Project PiHome (http://pihome.harkemedia.de/ http://pihome.harkemedia.de/) . Now i use the 433mhz modul too, but without the receiver.

i have spend my project now more time. :)

i think to merging the projects was a good idea.

you have made a very good job with the system to recognize the code of devices with the receiver. awesome!
with your system and the receiver people can control lights and heating.

i work now at a new frontend and i think ist better if we bring the projects together.

i have write three module in php

  • to set lights all off if sunrise and this function ist control by settings
  • set light by sunset every device can set.
  • and control light with google calendar.

i send you screenshots of the new fronted

i'm glad to hear from you.

cheers Sebastian
