Sorry, I can't work on it right now, I'm very busy. If someone can compile a version of the extension with the manifest VS support bumped (look for this commit that bumped the support for VS2017[1]) and test it confirming it just works I will make an official release. Similarly for async load support: patches welcome. But I will need weeks before I can work on it.

Hi, I have tried bumping the version and "it just works". I have the extension working in VS 2019 Pro.
