Are there plans to enable C# bindings for CGAL? Are there specific reasons for
not having enabled it yet?

The main reason are time and resources. I have no experience with C#.
Basically everything but iterators should work if we have a correct
CMakeLists.txt for C#. If someone experienced with C# wants to help,
we probably can do this easily.

I don't have much experience with SWIG, but I'm having a go with installing the
cgal-bindings now. Thereafter, I'll look into C#-bindings generation.

Hi all,

How have the C#-bindings generation gone?

I am not much experienced either with SWIG, but I am very interested in the
progress of such implementation. I may try to help as well.

Cheers. -E-

Nothing has been done on my side for now.
Step 1 would be to write a cmake macro to run SWIG in C# and compile the code
(with Mono or VS). One can first try with an independent dummy example and post
it here.

It still has the same status, no resource available unless someone can put some (either financial or time).
