Consider requesting this package be added to the python-lsp organisation and continue development there? That way it can benefit from the community around python-lsp and gain more exposure as well.

Yes, I am planning it in the first place!
Before asking the python-lsp team to take over this package, I want to see for a while whether any problems will be reported by users because I've just released the package.
Thank you for your suggestion.

That's great, thank you. I believe the python-lsp team will still expect you to maintain the package under the python-lsp org but they and the users will be able to support. I think this is why they no longer add plugin support directly into the python-lsp package.

Do you think your package is ready?

Are you comfortable with me updating the python-lsp-server README to link to your isort plugin instead of the one currently linked?

Yes, I am happy with that.

Sorry for the late reply.
I am willing to transfer this repository, but I do not have time to discuss how I can be involved in maintaining the package under python-lsp organization.

As far I'm aware, the commitment is to maintain it there as you would here. Being there you would likely have others that could help maintaining it.
