hi, nice pics... and yeah ... I'm looking into something like this... but not for bukkit... sorry ;-( |
If the plugin doesn't work on bukkit anymore then I can't use it anymore. I refuse to go to another server type when Bukkit has always worked for me. I don't know why people hate bukkit so much. I finally got my server working with half the memory it used to take with the bukkit server and a crapton of other plugins. I doubt all of them work on a non-bukkit server though. And I hate change, I can't stand spending weeks trying to figure out a new system. |
well, as long as there is bukkit there will be hopefully this plugin (as long as I can access the needed methods). but bukkit will end soon... I guess end of the year... than you will have 2 alternatives... spout and mojang api so let's look and see... I don't make big enhancements anymore for my plugins... and with this it is even harder as the code is not from me. so while I think that this ideas are nice, I don't really see that I implement them on my own atm... except if I have nothing else to do.. |
Wha, when did Bukkit say it was going to end? Whhyyyyyy!? >_< I have a whole jumblefuck of plugins I need to find out if work on Mojang's API. Spout should have ended long ago... |
well, when they announced that the official team was going to mojang and code the mojang api... that was feb this year... they haven't done really anything till now though.. bukkit is on extended live support, some other people did take over... but they always complain about updating to a new version. spout will be a good alternative I hope to the mojang api... |
Continuing in private on http://dev.bukkit.org/home/private-messages/ . |
will look into that later |
Another way could simply be hitting either input or output chest would do the same. That way it wouldnt have to check for redstone signal. When hitting, if any furnace is running, turn all off. Otherwise turn all on. |
well that is up to @chaseoes now |
I did message him, and hes been on several times since but no response... I was thinking he maby took over this ticketing system aswell? |
well I don't know if he will use this repo or make a fork of it. |
One switch, to rule them all! myprecioussssss~!
x3 here's a screeny of what I'd like to see.

I'd basically like to see a switch that will turn all of them on, without having to punch them. Aka as long as there's fuel in the box, it'll keep them all primed and ready in case it sees something go inside to smelt. Another addition to the idea is~
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/30270697/images/signchestsforgestuff.png
I'd like to be able to set up the forge, and when it's set up it either places signs on the chest for the person, or lets the person put signs on the chest and they can enter if the box is input, fuel, or output and then the forge will see it that way. I was trying to think of a block combination too that could spawn a forge like this but that would be much much harder to do unfortunately. I'm guessing at least.
Images will remain for a while, don't worry. :P I hope at very least the switch is implemented because clicking on them all is glitchy and sometimes pops the fuel out after you have to click multiple times.
