Describe the bug

<span class="woot--notification"></span> is overflowing the entire site and pushing content, creating an annoying empty line in the bottom.

This would not be a big deal, but this overflow is causing Firefox scroll to act funny.

To Reproduce

  • static website
  • add the provided JS to the footer
  • before </body>
  • the overflow happens

avoid overflows
