Is there any way to fetch for a local file? The seem to imply that possible but I cant seem to figure out how. In short I would like to keep a few node json files in a fixtures directory and fetch from there when I run my tests.

The short answer is "no". I will open a new issue with a milestone to get this done. It's easy enough, just never really thought of it as a use-case. You could use the ssh fetcher in the meantime though.

Problem is I may run tests in a dark environment.... Like today I wanted to run tests while on the plane to Beijing.. ;)

Appreciate you opening another feature request on this.

@johntdyer Can you try master and see if it works?
