Howdy,

As I'm sure you know, Python 2 is slated to go end of life in 2020 and distributions such as Debian are already working hard to detangle and remove Python 2 from the archive. Thus it'd be great if Cherokee's admin as well as test suite could be ported to Python 3. For the docs, Asciidoc has already been ported or one could also use 'asciidoctor' which is a Ruby port of Asciidoc.

Sure, and if you want to help with this effort that would be greatly appreciated :)

Just as an update, the next release of Debian (Bookworm, 12. Due early 2023) won't include python2. This also means the next Ubuntu LTS won't either.
