Need to research a way to pass in-game VOIP through a unit as well as the current text chat module. Might be more trouble than it's worth but need to look into it just the same.

As a person who plays a lot of Zeus in an roleplaying kind of way, ideally it would keep the standard 'hear all/talk to all' mode of Zeus if there's no module being used, but then if the module is active or selected (maybe only while remote controlling a unit?) be able to talk out of that units radio and be muted on the main normal channel (so only units listening to that radio freq could hear me, like i was a normal unit).
Basically as Zeus, I need to be able to hear and talk to everyone like I can now, but would also like the option to talk just out of selected radios, however you can make that work would be amazing.
I know the creator of TFR has said he'd think about adding Zeus options too.
Yeah he's mentioned supporting it but not with much fervor. I've already got quite a ways in getting it working with zeus. I've got the basic configs in there in a dialog and I have code in there that will force a radio object onto the virtual curator unit so that TFR can work. I'm also working on another config dialog that will allow Zeus to pick which side he wants his radio to be keyed to. and then where his voice will be emanating from. Probably could do it while remote controlling a unit and send messages while controlling him. Not sure on anything final yet this is all speculation. The more ideas we get on paper the easier it is to get all of our thoughts out on this.
So, one way or another I'm going to make this work. Just keep feeding ideas. Have a stack of ideas to poke around through is fantastic. Much better than doing it from scratch.
