I'm looking at some networks that AppBrain Ad Detector is picking up from apps on my phone.
Some of these found in Pandora Internet Radio, Words with Friends, Runtastic, Mint, Stitcher, Bible

@CrescendoFang AdChoices are ads by Google used on web pages. MinMinGuard blocks ad networks that are embedded in apps on your phone.

To block ads on a web page you'd need a blocker that blocks web ads.

This can be done in a few ways. DNS ad blockers or browsers which block ads, or browsers that support add-ons - which will let you install an ad blocking add-on.

For hostfile DNS blocking the 2 most popular apps are Adaway and Unbeloved Hosts. Both require root, Ubh requires XPosed.

For browsers , Firefox, Dolphin and a few others support add-ons for ad blocking. Others are adblock plus which made their own browser with built-in ad blocking- based on Firefox and several others.

You can combine any of the 3 ways for different sorts of ad blocking. Other ways a fake local VPN connection which funnels all traffic through itself and blocks them before actually showing them.

Anyways, I personally use MinMinGuard and Adaway.
That should be enough. Also, if you use Google Chrome disable the bandwidth saver in its settings. It basically lets ads through and circumvents a host file/dns app such as Adaway. Google would say they're compressing stuff to save your data but compressed pictures of ads use data, right?
