Host marked on CDNJS? #148
Comments
@paranoiacblack I don't think cdnJS cares who sends pull requests, so you can add marked just as easily as @chjj can. |
@scottgonzalez, I just wanted @chjj's or someone else permission before doing so. I don't know @chjj enough to say whether or not he would care about something like this. Can I take your comment as permission? |
Well, it's released under the terms of the MIT license, so anyone is allowed to redistribute however they want, as long as the license stays intact. |
That's fair enough. Thanks for the answer. I'll start the process, link it to here and finally close this issue. Thanks again! |
@paranoiacblack, scottgonzalez is right. You're more than welcome to do whatever you want with marked as long as the license is included. |
This is done, isn't it? |
Sorry, not sure how I missed that this was closed. |
@markedjs/marked |
Hi @chjj, would you mind it if marked was hosted by CDNJS (https://github.com/cdnjs/cdnjs#cdnjs-script-repository)? I think this would make it more accessible for different development playgrounds like Plunker or jsFiddle. I'm also working on a project licensed under the APGLv3 license (https://github.com/galah-group/galah) and we'd like to avoid licensing and attribution issues from packaging your library with the project when, in reality, we just want to pull it from a reliable source similar to jQuery.
Let me know if you have problems with this approach, and if there aren't, I could make the pull request to CDNJS for you if you want.
