Update on maintenance status

Wanted to give @chmln and others a notice that I'm stepping back from maintaining this project

There's nothing specific to this project that's making me step back. I simply don't have the bandwidth to give this project the attention that it needs, so I'm explicitly shedding load since that's better than giving the illusion that it's still maintained (and it will rest easier on my conscience)

I won't be stepping up as a maintainer either because I have other higher priority projects at the moment but I can try to help out with whatever I can if time allows for it.
