"Each bit is typed out from the least significant bit to the most significant bit (left to right)."

I may be misunderstanding (in which case just ignore) but shouldn't that be right to left?

Good catch. It was late when I wrote that. (Also I didn't know including "Fix #1" automatically closed issues!)

Also 8c26b70 now includes the option to specify right-to-left or left-to-right modes.
