Hi,
I just followed your jitsi meet guide to install jwt https://github.com/christiancuri/Docs/blob/master/Jitsi%20Meet%20Installation.md
and it throws an error with luarocks install luacrypto.

I am on ubuntu 20.04 focal

Thanks.

@christiancuri That would be fantastic! Please keep in mind that there are several processes that do not work out of the box.

  1. luarocks install luacrypto does not work. I posted a question in the jitsi community that you can look at for reference
    https://community.jitsi.org/t/jwt-token-installation-guide-need-help/72922

  2. running install-letsencrypt-cert.sh does not work b/c there is a problem with the certbot and python3. There is a workaround however. See below

In the meantime, before that’s fixed in certbot-auto, a quick and dirty fix:
Install certbot

# apt -y install certbot

Edit the /usr/share/jitsi-meet/scripts/install-letsencrypt-cert.sh and replace all occurrences of
./certbot-auto
with
certbot

then run the script.

Thanks !!!!

Problem is in missing libssl1.0-dev

I manually downloaded it from:

Installed both packages and patch works.
