Current Behaviour

you can split the trash groups by usage of feign death. that way you can do trash groups in smaller packs.

If you kill e.g. 2 of 5 mobs from a trash group in SSC (and the same should apply to TK), the trash group does not respawn as a whole.

Expected Blizzlike Behaviour

  • if any of the mobs from the trash group are engaged, the trash group as a whole should stay engaged.
  • if you clear only a part of the group (and e.g. wipe), the group should respawn as a whole.

Source

this is from memory for ssc and tk trash but should likely be easy to confirm.

Steps to reproduce the problem

for 1) pull a mob with a hunter, taunt with second char, feign death with hunter.

for 2) kill 2-3 mobs from a pack and reset (e.g. feign death / vanish / bubble+hearthstone). the trash group should reset as a whole.

Extra Notes

this reset / engage behavior should be similar to the https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=12460/death-talon-wyrmguard in bwl and the https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=15264/anubisath-sentinel in AQ40
