Can someone please suggest a solution to this issue? I have spent hours trying to find a remedy for it but failed.

This had helped me resolve this issue. I replaced Redhat-8 in the links to Redhat-9 when needed, use the referenced links to find the exact path to the relevant file. https://access.redhat.com/discussions/6334751

This message is shown by Firefox if the plugin is loaded via MOZ_GMP_PATH environment variable.
Fedora's mozilla-openh264 package does this, for example.
The plugin should work and you can ignore this message.
