How to get Beanmill Running?

Hi - after trying for days, I give up and like to ask for you help please. Could you please let me know why I don't see any log messages appear in the Beanmill window? In the Netbeans IDE's options, the port 4445 is set for Beanmill, and I use the attached log4j2 config file.

The log messages appear in the console and in the file, but not in Beanmill. In log4j2 manual I read something about a MulticastDNS which I do not understand. Do I need to do something else besides installing the Beanmill plugin and defining a Socket Appender for log4j2? Or is Beanmill not compatible with version 2 of log4j?
