waypoints.. how? #56
Comments
If you just want basic waypoints, use the linear provider with /npc path. Guided waypoints are specifically when you want a generalised path to stick to but do not want the NPC to follow a set order. They also use the new pathfinder so can be more glitchy - there's a debugging setting if you really want to set this up. The ender effects should disappear when you relog. |
The ender effects are still there. Also, I still can't find any way to remove the previous waypoints, and the NPC won't move at all unless I set him to wander now. I think it's from trying to remove waypoints and it adding too many in the same spot instead. How do I clear them, and the effect? |
You can now type 'clear' into chat to remove all waypoints. |
This appears to be answered fully. |
Same problem here (2.0.25 1768), clear doesn't works (not detected in chat) |

Having trouble setting up waypoints. I attempted first using the guided provider. The NPC seems to ignore all guided waypoints and get stuck trying to go directly to a destination waypoint causing it to just teleport back to it's spawn. Rinse and repeat.
Also when trying to right-click to remove a waypoint (as it says in the description) it just creates another one on top of the current one. There's no 'clear' command, and so I'm stuck with non-functioning waypoints that can't be removed.
toggle path
command does nothing. I now have a bunch ofeye of ender
effects in my path that I can't get rid of.Any help would be appreciated
