What about adding composer support #5
Comments
Thanks for the idea. Actually, we were planning checking Bower support (JS package manager), so we can check Composer too. In a few days we're releasing CKE 4.3.1, so it'll be a good moment for that. I'll let you know here when (we'll think) everything is ready :). |
Any updates on this? Still plans? Composer is getting more popular every day (Same for bower). |
Not yet. We made a research, but the guy responsible for it had to change a task after it. I think he'll be able to finish it soon. Although, you should know that we decided to go the easiest way regarding which CKEditor preset will be available and this is standard. |
(edited my previous post - I was wrong about the "standard-all") |
As Reinmar said, we were working on bringing Composer support for CKEditor, and there it is, from now on (since CKEditor 4.3.3) you can download CKEditor using composer. For more info see: |
Hi, would be great if you add composer support so we can install ckeditor as a dependency.
Twitter bootstrap is doing that.
If you agree I can make a PR for you and you will just have to register this on packagist.
What do you think about this idea ?
