How to reproduce:

  • Install clearlinux on a macbook pro mid 2015 (11,5) setting up encrypted disk password
  • boot, and when the OS ask the password to use the disk, the keyboard does not work, because the kernel does not load the needed modules at that stage

Clear Linux version 29360
Linux clr 5.0.14-753.native #1 SMP Wed May 8 14:56:52 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux

These are the apple loaded modules when the machine boots:

lsmod | grep apple
applesmc 20480 0
input_polldev 20480 1 applesmc
hid_apple 16384 0
apple_gmux 20480 0
apple_bl 20480 1 apple_gmux
