I tested the app by creating a folder named TEST and it was oddly placed ABOVE my LOCAL FOLDERS in a folder named - duh - TEST. Then I TRIED to point it to TB data but when I did ALL I got were zillions of folder icons under the Test folder. I did NOT want to delete the data as I was afraid it would delete ACTUAL emails. So I deactivated the app and the TEST folder and subfolders remained. I then DELETED the app and still no luck. THEN to CYA I pointed the TEST folder to my download folder so I wouldn't lose email data. Please tell me - how the heck do I delete the TEST folder account without deleting actual emails or files and WHY doesn't deleting or deactivation the account remove the folder? Also, please tell me why an app called LOCALFOLDER adds a folder OUTSIDE and ABOVE the actual Local Folders of TB? This MAY be a good app, but I'm completely confused as to which TB data folders work with it. I feel MUCH better documentation is needed. Please tell me how to delete the TEST folder without deleting any associated data. Thanks - joseph

@JosephOBX
Not an idiot, sorry for the confusion.
TB has somewhat arbitrary account ordering. The reason the add on is called LocalFolders is because this is the account type that Thunderbird classifies this local storage. @cleidigh
