Add album year to library filter

What do you mean? In the left pane or right? There's an option to sort by "year -
album" in the left pane (in svn), and if there's a year column in the right pane you
can sort by it. Or are you speaking of something else?

Yes, I mean that text field with "Enter search term here" on top of a library tree!
As far as results are shown "on the same place" (just "reducing" tree), I thought it
is more appropriate to say about filtering rather about searching.

Makes sense to me. Probably one of the only numerical tags I'd include as searchable,

In fact year filtering does work now as direct text (say, "2009"). Probably we can keep the issue opened keeping in mind to add a year tag qualifier ("year:2009").

Put more filters in the library, not only because of "year:".
have the filters by "lastplay:", "playcount:","directory:","type:" and "rating:"
It would be great!
