System information

Please provide information about your system and the version of Clementine used.

Expected behaviour / actual behaviour

Expected:
Automatic Crossfade should work when transitioning from tracks hosted on Subsonic server to other tracks (local and remote)

Actual:
Automatic Crossfade fails when transitioning from tracks hosted on Subsonic server to other tracks (local and remote)

Test cases:

transition from Local File to Local File = SUCCESS
transition from Local File to Subsonic Track = SUCCESS
transition from Subsonic Track to Local File = FAIL
transition from Subsonic Track to Subsonic Track = FAIL

Steps to reproduce the problem (only for bugs)

Assumption: A Subsonic server with music tracks is available (http://subsonic.org/pages/getting-started.jsp)

  1. Configure Clementine to access the Subsonic Server
  2. Ensure that at least one music track is available as a local file (mp3, flac, etc.)
  3. On Clementine, enable Automatic Crossfade between tracks
  4. On Clementine, create a playlist including tracks from both the Subsonic server, and local files
  5. On Clementine, arrange playlist and ensure that playback options allow for transitioning from tracks hosted on the Subsonic server to other tracks on the Subsonic server and to local files (this is the failure case.) To observe the success case, watch the transition from a local file to any other type of track (local or remote).
