External integration support?

We really love the modular nature of integrations. It has allowed us to make some customizations to the Zendesk integration that are better suited towards are specific organization's work flow (but probably wouldn't make sense for others). However, it seems like the only way to distribute that integration would be to fork the entire extension and distribute that ourselves. This seems like overkill considering the only thing we did was modify a single integration.

Are there any plans to allow a user to add an integration themselves? That would be really great.
