I am wondering what is the status of this project in regards to receiving PRs.
I have a need to expand this project to honor firehose streams and to use go mod. I can just fork the project but wanted to know if you receive PRs I can help and expand this valuable tool

Hi @guillermo-menjivar, feel free to fork and/or submit changes, I'm happy to incorporate them into this project. However, I'd also suggest taking a look at Jeffail/benthos as another alternative to this project that I've contributed to, and is more feature complete than this project.
