File Adapter : not locking files

In the execute method of the file reader service, if the empty message used to unlock and delete the file isn't returned immediately (return Message.CreateMessage(MessageVersion.Default, string.Empty);) another message regarding the same file may be sent to the adapter.
Apparently the file don't get locked and can be acquired multiple times.
