The output filters from Sirius power supplies uses resistors to damp the ressonance of LC circuit. Depending on the amplitude and frequency of the output current, this resistor may heat up too much, due to the low impedance path formed by its series capacitor for a specific frequency.
This condition may appear during an instability of the power supply, or even by SigGen or RmpWfm operation.
It's possible to find conditions of internal variables (such as currents and duty-cycle) that correspond to safe margins to operate. Based on this, an implementation for an unsafe operation condition of such cases is required.
Some specification from Power Converters groups arestill necessary to implement this.
