PyMeshLab 2022.2 has been uploaded to PyPi!
This version brings big changes: we renamed all the filter function names, with the goal of making more clear what each filter does.
Don't worry: this version supports both old and new filter names (when using an old filter name, a warning will be thrown). Old filter names won't be available anymore starting from the next version of PyMeshLab.
We also provided a small function that allows to automatically find and replace filter names in your filter scripts.
You can replace filter names in a script
my_script.py
by calling:Or, you can replace all the sripts contained in a directory
my_directory
by calling:This version also introduces the possibility to render the content of a MeshSet, by using the Polyscope library.
What you have to do is just to be sure that you have installed Polyscope (it is not a direct dependency of PyMeshLab):
